TEN UNRELEASED DAVID BOWIE SONGS TO BE MADE PUBLIC SOON

LONDON, JULY 16 /SRNA/ - Ten previously unreleased songs by David Bowie, recorded at the beginning of his career, will be made available to the public in September this year.

The compilation, titled "David Bowie: The Shel Talmy Recordings," has been described as the most comprehensive collection of songs recorded by a young David Bowie, when he was known as Davy Jones, with his then-producer Shel Talmy.

The collection includes contributions from guitarist Jimmy Page, who would later go on to form Led Zeppelin, and pianist Nicky Hopkins, who collaborated with the Beatles, The Who and The Rolling Stones.

One of the unreleased singles, "I Want Your Love," was made available on streaming services ahead of the complete collection's release on September 18.

The other songs set to be released are: "Cupid", "Leave Her to Me", "You Gotta Tell Her", "Certain Woman", "Today", "I Live in Dreams" and "I Do Believe I Love You."

Some singles from this period of Bowie's career had previously been available, including "Can't Help Thinking About Me" and "Do Anything You Say."

The other songs that will be included in the new compilation are titled "You've Got a Habit of Leaving" and "Baby Loves That Way."

David Bowie, the British rock musician, singer, songwriter, and actor whose career spanned more than five decades, died on January 10, 2016. He is considered one of the most successful and influential figures in music history, according to the BBC.
