TEHRAN HALTS OPERATIONS AFTER U.S. SUSPENDS STRIKES

TEHRAN, JULY 26 /SRNA/ – Tehran has suspended its retaliatory military operations after Washington halted its strikes over the past two nights, Iranian military spokesperson Amir Akraminia said.

"Since our strategy was entirely based on retaliation, we have also suspended our operations," he said.

Akraminia described the U.S. strategy as confusing, citing contradictory signals from U.S. President Donald Trump and the U.S. Central Command.

He warned that any resumption of U.S. strikes would broaden the conflict, noting that the fighting had already reached the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

He asked U.S. officials to present clearer positions in order to avoid further regional escalation.
