TALKS WITH IRAN ARE GOING WELL

WASHINGTON, JULY 27 /SRNA/ - US President Donald Trump said that talks with Iran are "going well" and that there is a possibility of reaching an agreement.

"There is a very good chance that something will happen," Trump told reporters.

Trump added that Iran had requested a meeting with US officials through intermediaries, adding that the United States would "meet with them."

"I have plenty of time," Trump stressed.

He also commented on the way US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth handled the war against Iran, saying that he was "not disappointed" and that Hegseth had "done an excellent job."

The US president also said that he and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have "a little bit of difference" regarding Iran, but that they are "pretty close."
