SWISS PLANE SENT A DISTRESS SIGNAL

BERN, OCTOBER 13 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ - The pilot of a Swiss Airlines plane flying from Stockholm to Zurich sent a distress signal while over Germany, flight-tracking website Flightradar24 reported.

According to the website, the aircraft later transmitted a "general emergency" signal and continued flying, with a planned landing in the Hamburg area.
