SIX U.S. AIRCRAFT STRIKE FOUR TARGETS IN IRAN

WASHINGTON, June 27 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – Six U.S. aircraft carried out strikes on four targets in Iran, the PBS News portal reported, citing a U.S. official.

According to the report, the targets included radar installations, missile depots, and drone storage facilities in Sirik, Iran.

Earlier, Press TV, citing Iranian state television, reported that two missiles struck a telecommunications tower near the Iranian city of Sirik.

The Axios news portal reported last night, citing a U.S. official, that the United States had conducted a series of airstrikes in the Strait of Hormuz region.

According to those reports, the airstrikes were carried out several hours after U.S. President Donald Trump said that Tehran had unreasonably violated the ceasefire agreement with the United States by attacking vessels transiting the strait.
