RUSSIAN TABLE TENNIS PLAYERS WILL BE ABLE TO COMPETE EQUALLY FROM JULY 28

MOSCOW, JULY 13 /SRNA/ - The International Table Tennis Federation will restore full rights to Russian table tennis players in competitions organized by the international federation from July 28, the press service of the Russian Table Tennis Federation told TASS.

"The Executive Board of the International Table Tennis Federation has decided that from July 28, athletes with Russian passports will be allowed to compete under conditions equal to all athletes," the statement said.

The Federation states that the International Table Tennis Federation has taken into account the provisional decision of the International Olympic Committee made on July 7, according to which all previously imposed restrictions on the Russian Olympic Committee are lifted.
