RUBIO: POSITIVE PROGRESS EXPECTED IN PEACE TALKS WITH TEHRAN

WASHINGTON, MAY 21 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ - U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says he expects positive progress in peace negotiations with Iran.

Rubio says that Pakistani officials are expected to travel to Tehran today as part of efforts to reach a peace agreement between the United States and Iran.

"There will be several visits. I believe Pakistani diplomats will travel to Tehran today, so we hope that this will further advance the process. The President /of the United States, Donald Trump/ prefers a good agreement," Rubio told the press.

Trump stated yesterday that the United States would respond very quickly if Iran does not provide a "100 percent good response" during the ongoing negotiations on reaching an agreement.
