RECORD NUMBER OF UFO SIGHTING REPORTS

BERLIN, AUGUST 10 /SRNA/ – Germany is recording a sharp increase in reports of unidentified flying objects /UFOs/, according to data from the Central Research Network for Extraordinary Celestial Phenomena, Germany’s largest private network for reporting and investigating UFO phenomena.

According to the network’s director, Hansjürgen Köhler, the organisation has never before received as many UFO reports as it is receiving now.

"We receive between three and six reports a day," Köhler said in an interview with Euronews, adding that his team has investigated around 14,000 UFO sighting reports to date.

The increase in reports has coincided with the release of declassified Pentagon documents concerning phenomena believed to potentially be linked to extraterrestrial activity.

Köhler did not rule out the possibility that extraterrestrial life exists, but said he remains skeptical about most reports.

According to him, a large majority of reported phenomena ultimately turn out to be aircraft, rocket parts, satellites, meteors, planets, balloons or even lasers from various events that can be seen from several kilometers away.
