PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, August 23 /SRNA/ - Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the glorification of Nazism in Ukraine is part of the problem and that Russia will not tolerate it.
"The current Ukrainian authorities have made neo-Nazism the foundation of their state ideology. This is appalling, and we cannot and will not tolerate it. This is precisely one of the reasons for carrying out the special military operation - the fight against neo-Nazism, Russophobia and attempts to eradicate everything Russian, our culture and our history," Putin said in an interview with the Vijesti portal.
He added that even countries that are not sympathetic to Russia can now see the rise of Nazism in Ukraine.
Putin said that Kyiv had incorporated Nazi ideology into the foundations of its statehood.
The Russian president said that Poland was closely and seriously monitoring the ideology of neo-Nazism in Ukraine.
