MOSCOW, OCTOBER 27 /SRNA/ - The blowing up of Russia's Nord Stream gas pipeline was a direct act of terrorism, Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.

He stressed that global industry is also suffering other shocks, including the worsening situation in the Middle East, disruptions to logistics chains and supply routes, and international barriers to purchasing specialized equipment and technology.

Explosives were detonated in 2022 on the two Nord Stream pipelines running from Russia to Europe, leaving only one line theoretically operational.

The trial of Ukrainian Serhii Kuznietsov, accused of planning the attack on Russia's Nord Stream pipeline, will continue in Germany, a court in Hamburg said, rejecting defense request to halt the proceedings.
