POLYANSKIY: EUROPE IS SYSTEMATICALLY PREPARING FOR WAR WITH MOSCOW

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 22 /SRNA/ – Moscow is receiving increasing evidence that Europe is systematically preparing for war with Russia, Dmitry Polyanskiy, Russia's Permanent Representative to the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe /OSCE/, has stated.

He said at the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council that the EU was also choosing to prolong the conflict in Ukraine rather than engage in a dialogue on security.

"The Russian side is once again demonstrating its commitment to diplomacy and its readiness for dialogue. It is now the call of Kyiv and of its European sponsors. The coming days and weeks will show whether they are ready to negotiate from realistic positions, with the aim of achieving a long-term and sustainable resolution to the crisis, or whether they are merely sabotaging other parties' peace initiatives," Polyanskiy emphasised.
