MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA–RIA Novosti/ – The authorities in Kyiv want to disrupt the electoral process in Russia, said Ella Pamfilova, chairwoman of Russia's Central Election Commission /CEC/.
Speaking at a meeting of the Russian CEC, she said that Kyiv was afraid to hold elections in Ukraine.
"Now I am returning, so to speak, to our Kyiv swindlers and others who continue to make dirty efforts to discredit the elections and cause them various kinds of harm. The guys are really trying. They are not holding their own elections because they are afraid of them, and they want to disrupt ours," Pamfilova said.
Elections to the Russian State Duma will be held from September 18 to 20.
