PALESTINE ACTION DESIGNATED AS A TERRORIST GROUP

WASHINGTON, AUGUST 26 /SRNA/ - The organization Palestine Action has been added to the US list of Specially Designated Global Terrorists, the US Department of the Treasury said.

According to a statement published on the department’s website, all bank accounts and assets belonging to the group in the US will be frozen, and its members will be barred from entering the country.

The organization Palestine Action was founded in the United Kingdom in 2020 and says its goal is to fight against Israel and its regime.

Its members deliberately damaged military aircraft and facilities owned by Israeli defense company Elbit Systems, and several of them have been accused of antisemitism.

The US Department of the Treasury also blacklisted two other left-wing organi

zations.
