OIL PRICES FALL

NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 21 /SRNA/ - Oil prices on the global market continued to fall today, the US daily newspaper The Wall Street Journal reported.

In New York, the price of light crude oil fell by 3.8 percent to $96.49 per barrel.

In London, the price of North Sea Brent crude fell by 3.1 percent to $100.65 per barrel.

US Central Command chief Admiral Brad Cooper said over the weekend that the volume of oil and cargo passing through the Strait of Hormuz had reached its highest level in the past six months.
