DUBAI, OCTOBER 5 /SRNA/ - Crude oil exports from the Middle East rose above pre-war levels on four of the seven days during the last week of September, according to shipping industry data published by Kpler.

The report said crude oil exports from the region exceeded pre-war levels on September 24 and from September 27 to 29, rising to between 19.5 million and 22.5 million barrels per day.

Exports averaged 18 million barrels per day between March 2025 and February this year, before the war between the United States, Israel and Iran began.

The data showed that the seven-day average for crude oil exports stood at 18.5 million barrels per day as of October 1.

This includes transit through the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea, exports from terminals, and ship-to-ship transfers in the Gulf of Oman.

Kpler noted that total production of crude oil, petroleum products and chemicals averaged 22.4 million barrels per day in the seven days through September 30.

The volume of liquefied natural gas leaving the Strait of Hormuz also rose in September to its highest monthly level since February.

The figures exclude vessels that may have passed through the Strait of Hormuz with their automatic identification system transponders switched off to avoid detection.
