NEW ROLLING STONES ALBUM PUTS THEM ON PAR WITH THE BEATLES

LONDON, JULY 17 /SRNA/ - The legendary band The Rolling Stones has topped the official UK Albums Chart for the 15th time with their new album Foreign Tongues, matching The Beatles.

The band's 25th studio album was released on July 10 and features guest appearances by Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, and Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

The album also features the late Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, with a recording from one of his final studio sessions before he died in 2021.

The Rolling Stones last reached number one on the official UK Albums Chart with their 2023 album Hackney Diamonds, which won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.

At an album launch party in London last week, Mick Jagger /82/ and Ronnie Wood said they were interested in going on tour.
