MULTIPLE FATALITIES IN A SHOOTING IN NORTH CAROLINA

PROSPECT HILL, AUGUST 5 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - There are multiple victims, including fatalities, in a shooting in Prospect Hill in the US state of North Carolina, the State Bureau of Investigation announced.

"The Caswell County Sheriff's Office received a call today and dispatched patrols to the address 352 Brooks Road in Prospect Hill, North Carolina. Upon arrival at the scene, sheriff's deputies found multiple individuals with gunshot wounds," the statement read.

The Bureau added that one person was transported to Duke University Hospital with a gunshot wound, while multiple individuals were fatally wounded in the shooting.

At this time, there is no information regarding the exact number of deceased victims, the injured, or the shooter.
