MOSCOW AND KIEV EXCHANGED 103 FOR 103 POWs

MOSCOW, AUGUST 19 /SRNA/ - Russia has returned 103 previously captured Russian soldiers from the territory under the control of Kiev, while 103 Ukrainian soldiers have been handed over to Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry announced.

The ministry stated that the United Arab Emirates provided humanitarian mediation in the exchange.

The Russian soldiers are currently in Belarus, and all necessary assistance is being provided by the Russian Ombudsman Yana Lantratova, TASS reported.

The ministry added that the soldiers, after receiving the necessary psychological and medical assistance, will be transferred to Russia for further treatment and rehabilitation.
