MEDVEDEV: BLOCKING RUSSIAN SATELLITE SYSTEM WOULD LEAD TO SPACE WAR

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 4 /SRNA/ - Blocking Russia's "Rassvet" satellite system would lead to a large-scale space war, Russian

Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev warned.

"Blocking Rassvet at the request of a Kyiv idiot means only its destruction. I hope the US understands this, because their Starlink satellites in low orbit will then crash like toys from a dried-out Christmas tree," Medvedev wrote on Telegram.

He added that space is "a very confined place where kindness is needed."

"Rassvet" is the name of Russia's new satellite system. The system is Moscow's response to Starlink.
