LAVROV: WEST PRETENDS TO BE READY FOR UKRAINE TALKS

MOSCOW, JULY 9 /SRNA/ – Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said the West, while pretending to be ready for negotiations on Ukraine, has shifted to issuing open ultimatums to Russia.

Speaking at a joint news conference with Mozambican Foreign Minister Maria Manuela Lucas, Lavrov said they had discussed the current situation surrounding Ukraine, including the actions of Western countries.

He added that the West is only pretending to be prepared for negotiations.

"Russia will no longer believe that the West is genuinely interested in negotiations aimed at resolving the conflict in Ukraine," Lavrov said.
