KING HARALD'S HEALTH CONDITION "VERY SERIOUS"

OSLO, AUGUST 27 /SRNA-Reuters/ - The health of Norway's King Harald V has deteriorated in hospital and is now "very serious", the palace said.

The statement said Queen Sonja and Crown Prince Haakon had cancelled all previously planned events due to the king's health condition.

King Harald /89/ was hospitalized on August 17. The palace said the cause was a bacterial blood infection.
