LONDON, JULY 13 /SRNA-Reuters/ - British authorities have declared Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization, Sky News reported.
The agency reports that membership in the Corps, attending its meetings and displaying its emblem in public will be considered a criminal offense.
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which has already been subject to British sanctions, is an elite military unit loyal to Iran's supreme religious leader since its founding in 1979, after the Islamic Revolution in that country.
