HEARING ON UKRAINIAN MONEY LAUNDERING OF US FUNDS TO TAKE PLACE SOON

WASHINGTON, JULY 16 /SRNA/ - US Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna announced a hearing on declassified documents provided by former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard regarding a money-laundering operation in Ukraine linked to the re-election campaign of former US President Joe Biden.

"I will hold a hearing on declassified documents related to a money-laundering operation in Ukraine involving funds from the Agency for International Development for the purpose of financing Biden's re-election campaign," Luna wrote on X.

In March, she accused Democrats of deliberately prolonging the conflict in Ukraine to carry out a major corruption scheme to launder billions of dollars from the US budget to finance their own political goals.

The Just the News portal published the contents of a declassified US intelligence report from late 2022, according to which Ukrainian leadership and USAID representatives in Kyiv allegedly devised a scheme in which hundreds of millions of dollars allocated for infrastructure projects were actually used as a cover to transfer approximately 90 per cent of those funds to the Democratic National Committee.

The report stated that the US had intercepted communications between Ukrainian officials discussing how they could redirect energy funds allocated to Kyiv to finance Joe Biden's 2024 election campaign if he were nominated.
