HEAD OF DRONE MANUFACTURER VLADIMIR TKACHUK INJURED IN EXPLOSION

MOSCOW, AUGUST 5 /SRNA/ – Vladimir Tkachuk, the chief executive officer of Uraldrone Plant, a manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles, was injured in a car explosion, an emergency services official said.

"Tkachuk was injured in the car explosion and is in intensive care in critical condition. Doctors are fighting for his life," the unnamed official told the TASS news agency.

The newspaper Kommersant, citing an unnamed source, reported that Tkachuk was injured while his driver was killed when their vehicle exploded in Russia's Sverdlovsk Region.
