FREIGHT TRAIN FALLS FROM OVERPASS IN MUNICH

MUNICH, JUNE 20 /SRNA/ – A freight train fell from a railway overpass in Munich, leaving one person seriously injured, police said.

Two railcars fell from a height of approximately five meters onto the roadway below.

Police later announced that the train was not carrying hazardous materials and that there is no danger to the public.

It is not yet known when the railcars will be removed from the road, and the area could remain closed until Sunday.

The accident occurred on a railway line used exclusively for freight transport, reports Deutsche Bahn.
