DMITRIEV: COOPERATION WITH MOSCOW COULD SAVE GERMAN ECONOMY

BERLIN, OCTOBER 10 /SRNA/ – Energy cooperation between Germany and Russia could save German industry and the economy, Kirill Dmitriev, the Russian president’s special envoy for international economic cooperation, assessed.

Dmitriev commented on co-chair of the opposition party Alternative for Germany /AfD/, Alice Weidel’s post on X, who compared the signing of an agreement between the United States and Russia on diesel fuel with the policies of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with US President Donald Trump yesterday.

Following the conversation, the US president said that an agreement had been reached during the talks on the supply of diesel fuel from Russia.

Trump stated that the United States was very pleased to receive the Russian diesel fuel it needed.
