DMITRIEV: AfD PROPOSED BUSINESS FORUM WITH MOSCOW AND WASHINGTON

NEW DELHI, SEPTEMBER 11 /SRNA/ - The Alternative for Germany /AfD/ party has proposed organizing a trilateral business forum involving Russia, the United States and Germany, Russian Presidential Special Envoy for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries Kirill Dmitriev said.

"We spoke with the AfD, which advocates lifting sanctions against Russia, energy cooperation between Russia, Germany and Europe, and which is, in fact, a voice of reason in Europe," Dmitriev said.

"And indeed, during our talks with the AfD, they asked: Why don’t we hold a business forum together?".

He added that the participation of US business representatives had also been supported by the US Chamber of Commerce, and that the Russian side would select its delegates for the forum.
