DEATH TOLL RISES TO 838

SANAA, SEPTEMBER 29 /SRNA/ - The number of people killed in Yemen since the escalation of the conflict inside the country has risen to 838, the Associated Press reported, citing data from the World Health Organization /WHO/.

The report shows that another 4,400 people have been injured.

On September 22, the WHO reported that 674 people had been killed since the beginning of August and another 3,000 had been injured.

In early September, the rebel movement Houthis launched an offensive in southwestern Yemen, including missile and drone strikes against coastal areas of the Red Sea and the vicinity of the city of Taiz.
