CARACAS, JUNE 30 /SRNA-Reuters/ - The death toll from the two earthquakes that struck Venezuela last week has risen to 1,943, lawmaker Jorge Rodríguez said.
He said the number of injured had almost doubled to 10,571.
According to figures released yesterday, the death toll from the disaster stood at 1,719.
