CHINA MEDIA GROUP SIGNS SEVERAL COOPERATION AGREEMENTS WITH JORDANIAN INSTITUTIONS

BEIJING, AUGUST 25 /SRNA/ - Several cooperation agreements between China Media Group /CMG/ and Jordanian institutions were signed in Beijing in the presence of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein.

CMG President and Editor-in-Chief Shen Haixiong, who is also Deputy Head of the Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, signed a memorandum of cooperation between CMG and the Jordan Tourism Board with Jordanian Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship Sami Smeirat, CMG reports.

A memorandum of understanding on film cooperation was also signed between China’s National Film Administration and Jordan’s Royal Film Commission.

In addition, CMG yesterday signed cooperation documents with Jordan’s Ministry of Government Communication, the Royal Film Commission, the General Directorate of Radio and Television, and the Jordan News Agency PETRA.

Under the signed documents, CMG and Jordanian institutions will develop institutionalized and mutually beneficial cooperation in the fields of film and television exchanges, news reporting, cultural promotion, and personnel exchanges.

The aim is to further contribute to the development of the strategic partnership between China and Jordan, CMG said.
