DUBLIN, SEPTEMBER 16 /SRNA/ - The suffering of Serb civilians in Kosovo did not easily fit into the narrative presented in the West, and the truth is much broader than the four convicted war criminals, Irish journalist Chay Bowes said, commenting on the verdict handed down today to four criminals from the terrorist Kosovo Liberation Army /KLA/.

"The narrative of the `liberation` of the so-called state of Kosovo is still being repeated. It ignores Serb civilians and others who were killed, tortured, had their organs removed, disappeared or were expelled from their homes," Bowes wrote on X.

He recalled that the criminal project was approved by the administration of former US President Bill Clinton.

Bowes stressed that the full truth about the crimes of the terrorist KLA and NATO is much broader than the four convicted criminals, and that Serb civilian victims have been ignored or portrayed as collateral damage in the West.

"The complete story should show how the process of separating Kosovo from Serbia was conceived. That process was built on the lives of Serbs, whose suffering never easily fit into the narrative presented in the West," Bowes concluded.

A court in The Hague today sentenced four KLA leaders to a total of 81 years in prison. Hashim Thaçi was sentenced to 25 years, as was Jakup Krasniqi, Kadri Veseli to 18 years, and Rexhep Selimi to 13 years.
