BOEING 767 SKIDS OFF RUNWAY IN MIAMI

MIAMI, SEPTEMBER 6 /SRNA-Reuters/ — An Amazon Prime Air cargo plane skidded off the end of a runway at Miami International Airport, causing the closure of all runways and tracks and bringing air traffic to a complete stop, the airport authority said.

The statement said the aircraft was disabled at the northwestern end of the airport.

There was no immediate information on any injuries or fatalities.

The Federal Aviation Administration said it would investigate the event.
