AT LEAST 864 PEOPLE HAVE DIED FROM EBOLA

KINSHASA, 18 JULY /SRNA/ - The number of deaths caused by Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo has risen to 864, according to data released by the government.

The government stated that 2,181 cases of infection have been recorded since the outbreak began in May.

According to the epidemiological situation report, 56 new cases of infection and 36 new deaths were confirmed in the previous 24 hours.
