ACTOR SAM NEILL DIES

CANBERRA, JULY 13 /SRNA/ - Actor Sir Nigel John Dermot Neill, better known as Sam Neill, has died at the age of 78, his family announced.

The family statement said his death was sudden, and that he had previously been treated for cancer that he had been diagnosed with several years ago.

According to the family, Neill died today in Sydney.
