A CAR DROVE INTO A CROWD, SEVERAL PEOPLE INJURED

ROME, MAY 16 /SRNA/ - Several people were injured today when a car drove into a crowd in the center of the city of Modena in northern Italy, Italian media report.

The vehicle crashed into the window of a shop, and the driver stabbed a passerby after the man tried to stop him, according to reports.

The car hit at least 12 pedestrians.

The media reported that the driver is a 30-year-old Italian citizen of foreign origin.
