12 PEOPLE KILLED IN TWO TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS

ANKARA, MAY 31 /SRNA/ - Twelve people were killed, including a baby, and 44 were injured in two traffic accidents in Turkey.

Eight people, including a baby, died last night, and 33 were injured when a bus, for unknown reasons, veered off the road, hit a guardrail, and caught fire in southern Turkey, reported TRT Haber.

The vehicle burned completely.

The bus was traveling from Izmir to Antalya, and the accident occurred on the Denizli-Aydin highway near the village of Sarayköy.

Initial information from the investigation indicates that the driver lost control of the vehicle before the impact, and a technical malfunction or a moment of inattention is suspected.

In addition to the crash in Denizli, another severe accident occurred in another part of Turkey, claiming four lives.
