DOHA, OCTOBER 11 /SRNA/ – A total of 12 people were killed and 309 injured in a missile attack on Riyadh International Airport, the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation announced.
"As a result of the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on October 10, 12 people were killed, including four Saudi nationals, two Bangladeshi nationals and one US citizen," the statement said.
The victims also included one Palestinian and one national each from Jordan, Syria, Sudan and Egypt.
The authority stated that 309 people were injured, some of whom are in critical condition.
US President Donald Trump condemned the attack in Riyadh as "unacceptable".
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio also condemned the attack in Riyadh, blaming the Houthis.
According to CNN, the attack was carried out by Yemen’s Houthis, a group supported by Iran.
The attack, which also caused property damage, was the Houthis’ third attack on an international airport this week.
