YOUNG LUNA VUJOVIĆ ACHIEVES BIGGEST SUCCESS OF HER CAREER IN CASABLANCA

BELGRADE, JUNE 14 /SRNA/ – Sixteen-year-old Serbian tennis player Luna Vujović won the biggest title of her career so far by triumphing at the ITF W35 tournament in Casablanca.

Vujović defeated Spain's Ariana Geerlings Tecidó García 6-4, 6-4 in the final to claim the second professional title of her career.

The young Serbian player won an ITF W15 tournament in Monastir last year, while her appearance in Casablanca marked her fifth career final on the ITF World Tennis Tour.

According to RTS, this latest success will also bring her a significant rise in the WTA rankings.

Thanks to the title, Luna Vujović, at just 16 years of age, will break into the world's top 550 players for the first time in her career.
