WORLD CUP IN BOWLING TO BE HELD IN OCTOBER, ALL ACCOMMODATION CAPACITY BOOKED

BRČKO, SEPTEMBER 25 /SRNA/ - The World Cup in bowling will be held in Brčko from October 13 to 17, with 28 teams from 15 European countries set to participate.

One of the organizers, Nebojša Ristanić, said that this is the largest bowling event ever organized in this area, bringing leading world and European names to Brčko.

"The strongest teams will compete before the Brčko public - champions of their respective countries, led by Vilmos Zavarko, who is considered the equivalent of Novak Đoković in the world of bowling. Serbian national team players Alen Kujundžić, Igor Kovačić and Danijel Tepša will be coming, along with the entire Hungarian national team and the Zaprešić team," Ristanić said.

Due to the arrival of more than 450 competitors and thousands of fans, Ristanić said that all accommodation facilities in the city and surrounding area had already been fully booked, so accommodation had also been sought in Orašje, Bijeljina and Srebrenik.

According to him, admission to the Brčko bowling alley will be free for all visitors, while screens will be provided inside the venue for spectators who cannot fit in the stands, as well as a live broadcast via the YouTube channel.

Ristanić said that the Republika Srpska Ministry of Trade and Tourism had already supported the event and that support from the District Government was also expected.

At the same time as the World Cup is being held in Brčko, the Brčko clubs Rad and Olimp will participate in the European Cup, which will be held in Bačka Topola during the same period.
