TWO WINS FOR BANJALUKA'S BORAC TO ADVANCE TO CONFERENCE LEAGUE

BANJA LUKA, AUGUST 27 /SRNA/ - FK Borac Banja Luka advanced to the UEFA Conference League tonight after defeating Icelandic Víkingur 6–2 on aggregate in the Conference League qualifying play-off.

Borac won the second leg 3–1 at home, having also won the first leg in Iceland by the same scoreline.

Borac players were cheered on from the stands tonight by President Milorad Dodik, Speaker of the Republika Srpska National Assembly Nenad Stevandić, and Prime Minister Savo Minić.

The match was played in front of a packed crowd at Banja Luka’s City Stadium, with Vinko Marinović’s players reaching the group stage of a European club competition for the second time in their history, having achieved the feat two seasons ago as well.
