ROMANIAN BOY AND CROATIAN GIRL WIN INTERNATIONAL TENNIS TOURNAMENT

DOBOJ, JUNE 27 /SRNA/ – Romania's Dragoș Mone and Croatia's Iva Jerković won the men's and women's titles at the ITF J30 "Doboj Open 2026" International Junior Tennis Tournament for boys and girls under 18, which ended today.


In the men's final, Mone defeated Italy's Giulio Bozanga 2-0, winning 6-4, 6-4, while Jerković beat her fellow Croatian Aleksandra Kardum 2-0, with set scores of 6-2, 6-2.

In the men's doubles competition, Croatia's Ivan Maraković and Patrik Voljavec defeated their fellow-countrymen Juraj Kodrič and Manuel Matešić.

In the women's doubles, the Italian pair of Margherita Ferretti and Rachele Salepico defeated their fellow-countrywomen Viktoria Monaco and Altea Ceno.

Tournament director Dragan Dragičević said the tournament featured many high-quality matches and that both the guests and the players were satisfied.

The tournament was hosted by the Doboj Tennis Club, with the City of Doboj serving as the general sponsor and the Republika Srpska Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports as the gold sponsor.
