NARROW WIN FOR "VESZPRÉM" OVER "AL AHLY"

DOBOJ, AUGUST 15 /SRNA/ - The Hungarian handball team Veszprém defeated Al Ahly of Egypt 28:27 in the second match of the third competition day at the Doboj 2025 International Handball TV Champions Tournament.

Earlier, Germany’s Gummersbach beat hosts Sloga with a score of 41:20.

In an exhibition match, Beşiktaş handball players defeated Handball Club Gračanica 30:21.

Tomorrow, the match for fifth place will start at 16:20, the third-place match at 18:20, and the final for first place at 20:20.

The closing ceremony of the 56th Doboj 2025 International Handball TV Champions Tournament is scheduled for 22:00.

Six teams are participating in the tournament: Germany’s Gummersbach and Kiel, Hungary’s Veszprém, last year’s winner Al Ahly from Egypt, Beşiktaş from Turkey, and the host, Sloga Doboj.
