GORAN KRULJ WINS EUROPEAN CUP IN LESKOVAC

PALE, MAY 17 /SRNA/ - Weightlifter and member of the sports-recreational association "Gym Room" Goran Krulj has won the European Cup in Leskovac.

Krulj told SRNA that he achieved an outstanding result in the "strict biceps curl" discipline and that a special moment of the competition was when he broke both the European and world record, which previously stood at 90 kilograms, by lifting 91 kilograms.

Krulj said he confirmed top form and dominance on the international stage.

As he explained, after his third attempt he felt he had enough strength for an additional four to five kilograms, which serves as strong motivation for upcoming competitions and even greater results.

He added that this success represents a major step for regional sport and further proof that dedication, discipline, and consistency lead to top-level achievements.

Krulj also thanked his family and all those who support him.
