PARIS, JUNE 5 /SRNA/ – Serbian tennis player Aleksandra Krunić advanced to the Roland-Garros women's doubles final today after she and partner Anna Danilina defeated the duo of En Shuo Liang and Shuko Aoyama in straight sets, 7-5, 6-2.
The match lasted one hour and 34 minutes.
Krunić and Danilina secured two breaks of serve in the opening set while conceding one, taking the set 7-5 for a 1-0 lead.
They dominated the second set, recording two breaks without dropping serve to seal the victory and a place in the final.
Krunić and Danilina will face American Taylor Townsend and Czech player Katerina Siniakova in the championship match.
