TREBINJE, APRIL 27 /SRNA/ – A student of the "Jovan Dučić" Gymnasium in Trebinje Vuk Janković has qualified for the European Physics Olympiad in Sweden and the International Physics Olympiad in Colombia, set to take place in June and July, the school announced.
Janković secured his place at these international competitions in Tuzla, where the BiH Physics Olympiad was held two days ago. He won second place, just half a point behind the top-ranked student.
The top five students earned the right to compete at the International Physics Olympiad in Colombia, which will be held from July 4 to 12, while the top three students, along with those ranked sixth and seventh, qualified for the European Physics Olympiad in Sweden, scheduled for June 12 to 16.
The Trebinje Gymnasium highlighted that with this remarkable achievement, Vuk has once again surpassed the limits of what seems possible.
"No matter how proud we are and somewhat accustomed to his outstanding results, he continues to amaze us and make us wonder - does Vuk's thirst for knowledge have any limits? Vuk, we are proud and happy that you are ours and that you honor us by being part of this Trebinje Gymnasium", the school stated.
