JEZERO, AUGUST 4 /SRNA/ - Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić promised the residents of the municipality of Jezero substantial assistance, which will be determined in line with local priorities.
Vučić said that Serbia would seek to open a small manufacturing facility in the municipality, where women from this underdeveloped local community would be employed.
"We will help more than Mayor Snežana Ružičić expected," Vučić said during talks with Ružičić and local residents.
He also promised assistance in resolving the housing needs of several families.
Vučić thanked the representatives of the municipality of Jezero and its residents for their affection for and respect toward Serbia, noting that they had named several local institutions after it.
Vučić reminded that the municipality suffered greatly during the last war, particularly after the Croatian criminal Operation Storm, when Croatian and Muslim forces devastated everything in the hope of meeting in Banja Luka.
Ružičić said that the people of Jezero are proud and thanked Vučić for Serbia's support, which encourages them to remain in their hometowns.
