VRHOVAC: SUPPORT FOR THE REFERENDUM TO DEFEND SRPSKA

BANJALUKA, August 13 /SRNA/ - The Association of War Invalids of Republika Srpska supports holding the announced referendum in Republika Srpska, as it is important for the defense of Srpska and its institutions, said the Association's President Dragan Vrhovac.

"The people will give their opinion in a positive sense at the referendum," Vrhovac told SRNA.

He stressed that the people will recognize the intentions to weaken and destroy Republika Srpska.

According to him, the Association's position is that whoever the people have duly elected as President represents the institution of the President of Republika Srpska.

Following the ruling of the unconstitutional Court of BiH against the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, a referendum is expected to be held in Srpska on the basis of a decision by the National Assembly.
