VIENNA TO OPEN "REPUBLIKA SRPSKA HOUSE" ON DECEMBER 11

TREBINJE, NOVEMBER 27 /SRNA/ – The "Republika Srpska House," which will showcase products from the "Herzegovinian House" and the "Krajina House," will open in Vienna on December 11, the director of the Trebinje Agrarian Fund Veselin Dutina stated for SRNA.

"For the first time, the `Herzegovinian House` will enter the EU market together with the `Krajina House,` bringing the two brands together under a single name – the `Republika Srpska House,`" Dutina said.

He added that, for now, 10 to 15 local producers from Herzegovina who have met the strict food-safety standards required for export to the EU will be featured in this market.

According to him, the EU market applies very rigorous requirements when it comes to testing and certification that products must meet, so the range of products available on the shelves of the Republika Srpska House in Vienna is expected to expand gradually.

"This is a project we will be proud of, because when we opened the `Herzegovinian House,` we never dreamed we would one day enter the EU market," Dutina added.

He emphasized that the project was carried out in cooperation with Serbs and Serbian businesspeople in Vienna and with the support of the Republika Srpska Representative Office, which provided full assistance in the organization and implementation.

Dutina thanked all those who contributed to the realization of the project - Milorad Dodik, the head of the Republika Srpska Representative Office in Vienna Mladen Filipović, the mayor of Trebinje Mirko Ćurić, and others, without whose support the project would not have been completed.

He also announced that the opening of a "Herzegovinian House" in Novi Sad is expected soon, a project currently being developed by the Trebinje Agrarian Fund, and expressed gratitude to Herzegovinian producers who expand their cooperation with the Herzegovinian House each year.
