TWO SUSPECTS HELD IN COUNTERFEITING CASE

BANJA LUKA, SEPTEMBER 20 /SRNA/ – Two people, identified by the initials M.R. from Banja Luka and E.Š., a Serbian national, were arrested in Banja Luka on suspicion of counterfeiting money, the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior said.

During searches carried out on the orders of the Court of BiH, police temporarily seized EUR10,000 and $10,000 suspected of being counterfeit, as well as other items and traces that could be used as evidence in criminal proceedings.

The suspects were arrested on Saturday in the Banja Luka area by officers of the Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior's Directorate for Serious and Organized Crime.

After criminal processing, they will be handed over to the prosecutor handling the case at the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for further proceedings.
