TRUMP JR. ENDS VISIT TO BANJA LUKA

BANJA LUKA, APRIL 7 /SRNA/ – The son of the U.S. president, Donald Trump Jr., ended his one-day visit to Banja Luka, during which he addressed a panel discussion at the Banski Dvor and held informal talks with officials of Republika Srpska.

The plane carrying Trump Jr. departed from Banja Luka Airport in Mahovljani.

During his address at the panel discussion, attended by officials of Republika Srpska, Trump Jr. identified connecting with US investors in the IT sector as a business opportunity for the region and Republika Srpska.

When it comes to Republika Srpska and its chances for development, he said that electricity comes first, followed by the use of natural resources, and thirdly an educated workforce.

He emphasized that Americans can learn a great deal by coming to Republika Srpska, above all how the world truly functions.

Speaking about the USA – EU relations and their possible impact on the Western Balkans, Trump Jr. said that at various business conferences around the world he had often heard that the EU is a disaster that needs to be fixed because of its influence on values and Western civilization.

"The only way they can fix it is by not standing in their own way," Trump Jr. said.

After the panel discussion, Trump Jr. spoke with officials of Republika Srpska in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.

Trump Jr. visited Banja Luka at the invitation of SNSD Organizational Secretary Igor Dodik.
